A note from Gökçe...

Hi there, musical friend!

So many musicians are carrying tension, overthinking, and emotional fatigue — even when they’re doing what they love.

We’re constantly told to push harder, focus more, or “just relax” — but no one teaches us how to actually build the inner skills that support calm, clarity, and emotional resilience in a high-pressure field.

 

That’s why I created FOCUS: a mental training library filled with short, musician-specific tools to help you slow down, ground your nervous system, and stay focused — both in practice and performance.

I come to this work as a former voice teacher turned music performance coach, with a background as a university lecturer and radio host — and over 260 students around the world and 1800+ hours of experience.

This is the kind of training I wish had existed when I saw talented musicians struggling silently with stress, self-doubt, and emotional overload — and didn’t know how to help them shift out of it.
