You love your art. You’ve poured time, energy, and heart into it — and you have big dreams for where it could take you.
But somewhere along the way, fear crept in.
Fear of not being good enough. Of putting yourself out there. Of failing in front of people who matter.
You’ve worked hard — hours of practice, endless refining — but still feel blocked by nerves, self-doubt, and pressure when it matters most.
No one really talks about how heavy it can feel to pursue a career in music — how it wears on your motivation, joy, and emotional energy.
So you keep going, quietly overwhelmed.
Hoping things will shift with time. Trying to push through the anxiety, the overthinking, the burnout.
But making music shouldn't feel like a battle. And it shouldn't cost your wellbeing.
This is where we begin to rebuild.
Not just your confidence — but your connection to your craft, your creativity, and your long-term vision.
Let’s get you back to the version of music-making that feels like yours.
The kind that sustains you — not drains you.

I specialise in supporting musicians who want to feel grounded in their abilities, connected to their craft, and free from the mental spiral of everything that might go wrong.

If you’ve come this far, maybe you’ve tried a few things to ‘get over’ or ‘get through’ your nerves, fears, and inner criticism.
Things like…
-
Taking more lessons, perfecting your technique, spending hours in the practice room daily (but the problem is not that your musicianship is not good enough.)
-
Trying meditation, yoga, herbal aids to calm down, but their calming effects do not translate to your performances.
-
Giving talk therapy or hypnosis a shot, but even if they result in some success, they take a while to be effective for performance anxiety and fail to make a big impact in the long run.
-
Looking into positive psychology and repeating affirmations in the mirror, but find that these leave you feeling even worse because there is a part of you that simply refuses to believe you are good enough.
-
Trying visualisation, ‘record & critique’, desensitisation through frequent performance… but without a clear intentional goal, these do not necessarily improve one’s confidence or performances.
And even when you're well-prepared in terms of musicianship, the emotional weight of this career is real.
The pressure of constant performing, touring, unspoken competition, and harsh criticism — it wears on your wellbeing over time.
Add in perfectionism, fear of judgment, past mistakes, and the feeling that your worth is tied to how well you perform...
And suddenly, every small mistake becomes an attack on yourself.
Most of us were never taught the mental and emotional tools to navigate this kind of pressure — let alone sustain a career inside it.
In 8 years of teaching and coaching, I’ve seen my students struggle with this again and again.
That’s why I developed a focused, compassionate framework to help them manage nerves, self-criticism, dread and fear — so they can perform at their best, and actually enjoy it again.

My framework is built around 5 key components:
-
Nervous system regulation — because before we can do anything meaningful, we need to feel safe enough to try. Together we build awareness of your stress responses and develop tools to soothe, settle, and support your system, so you can show up with presence and resilience... not just push through or shut down.
-
Present-moment awareness — so you can stay grounded and make clear choices in the moment, instead of getting caught in spirals of self-doubt or sabotage.
-
Inner alignment work — using tools like Enneagram, Personality Type, Interaction Styles™, Essential Motivators™, and Jungian Archetypes to help you reconnect with your values and creative identity, so you can live and work on your own terms.
-
Outer action and direction — setting intentional goals, building habits, and taking meaningful steps toward the future you want.
-
Awareness and self-compassion — so you can relate to your thoughts and emotions with more softness, detach from harsh self-criticism, and stop talking yourself out of opportunities that matter.
So much of what I do is behind-the-scenes:
Mindfulness, managing unwanted emotions, values clarification, goal-setting for valued actions, inner critic and shadow work, tackling perfectionism, practice habits, self-kindness, lifestyle review for stress management…
It’s so much more than just performance coaching.
This is the mental work that is missing from most performing arts education.
These are also the skills to live your life well.

Gökçe made me feel at ease from the very first session. She helped me step out of my comfort zone and improve as a performer. She explains everything clearly, really listened to my needs and wants as a singer, and my performance nerves depleted as the weeks went on.
I wish the programme didn't have to end as it has changed me for the better.
Gökçe is a professional, goes that extra mile and caters to your needs as a performer!
